Abstract

Attitude to environmental protection and personal willingness to take measures for environmental protection. Topics: political areas with currently the greatest problems. Size class of car used; self-assessment of extent to which informed about tax support for low-emission cars; interest in equipping personal car with a catalytic converter; consideration of tax advantages and additional costs of installation of a catalytic converter; frequency of freeway use; attitude to a speed limit of 100 kilometers per hour, also as contribution to saving forests; attitude to foregoing Sunday drives as well as to a general prohibition of car driving on Sundays once each month or quarter; perceived alternatives to car driving; local means of passenger transport with greatest significance for the future. Most important aspects in purchase of food and beverages; most important demands of food packaging; sensitivity to products free from harmful substances; influence of a government stamp of quality for environmentally friendly products on one´s own purchase decision; willingness to pay higher prices for environmentally friendly products.
