Abstract
Since 1999, The Nordic Media Festival developed a comprehensive opinion survey. The studies are unique in that they see the development of the media from both the public and the media industry's points of view. The annual media survey provide insight into what journalists think about their profession and influence of journalism has. Not least they reveal how viewers experience the media and journalists' work. Investigations resulting each year in new and surprising information, and the results are often the subject of debate both internally and externally in the media industry.
