B) Exeter students: a quota sample of 1:15 with inter-related controls for sex and UGC subjects was drawn.
D) Exeter parents: every 7th address in the alphabetical Exeter University list was sampled.
C) Bath parents: parents of all 2nd and 3rd year students were sampled.
