Politbarometer

Politbarometer is a monthly series of surveys detecting the evaluations of situation in society and of the government performance. The Slovenian Politbarometer block borrowed questions from the German Politbarometer series by the Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Mannheim. It repeats standard questions and additionally covers the current affairs. Each year part of the questions repeats also in personal field SJM survey.

Abstract

This research is a part of regular monthly phone polls intended on following the levels of satisfaction with work of the Government and assessment of conditions in the country. Research also includes assessment of support for joining the European Union. Topical issues of the month were evaluation of change of electoral system, evaluation of archbishop statement about Slovene schools, return of mansion Betnava to Maribor's diocese and justification of exceptional pension to topmost artists.
