Abstract

In this study, one has been measuring fetal liver blood flow before and after the pregnant mother has eaten breakfast. The study is based on measuring of blood vessels (vena umbilikalis and ductus venosus). The participants in the study are healthy pregnant women with healthy fetuses, and the measuring was done in the weeks 30 and 36 of pregnancy. One has measured the diameter of the blood vessels and taken speed measurement of the blood flow. In addition, one has taken venous blood samples of the mother to measure glucose level. Data are freely available for downloading.
