Abstract

Attitudes towards a European Constitution.
Topics: self-rated knowledge about the European Constitution; attitude towards the following statements on a European Constitution: necessity for the European Union to adopt a constitution, risk of block of EU institutions without a constitution, necessity for the own country to make concessions, usefulness of the position of a European Minister of Foreign Affairs, possibility for selected member states to strengthen mutual cooperation without the participation of other member states; preferred sources of information on the European Constitution; knowledge test on the European Constitution: creation of the position of a European Minister of Foreign Affairs, possibility of at least one million EU citizens to invite the European Commission to submit a proposal, election of the President of the European Council by direct universal suffrage, creation of a European army.
