The aim of this project is to study the structure of careers within the Officer Corps in the period 1674 - 1934. Data are drawn from a history of the Coldstream Guards that includes 796 individuals. A second regiment, the Scots Guard Officers Corps was similarly examined. It comprised 1950 individual careers.Main Topics:
