The self-image and situation of women academics in occupation and
family.
Topics: Social origins and financing of college; attitude of parents
to taking up studies; employment before start of course of studies;
length and reasons for an interruption of studies; degree and
examination year; examination subjects; number of semesters and change
of major; occupational status at the college; intent to obtain
post-doctoral qualification as university lecturer; reasons for and
against this; chance of receiving a university chair; advantages and
disadvantages of women in occupation and at the university; assumed
reasons for the small number of female instructors; preferred
activities in instruction or research; employment outside the
university; requirements of the profession as college instructor;
existence of typically female characteristics; position of husband;
