Abstract

Under the title “Data Handbook of Academic Careers between 1850-1945”, this study aims at the publication and analysis of data concerning the individual steps of six great academic careers between the mid-19th and the mid-20th century, tracing the professional development of Evangelical theologians, lawyers, physicians, higher education lecturers, engineers, and chemists in the territories of Prussia und Germany by means of a thorough data collection. This handbook comprises and describes the most important steps in the course of these academic careers within the above-mentioned academic domains.
