The projects aim was to get new knowledge about young peoples choices of education in the last year of secondary school, the plans for the future when they were in the secondary school and the realisation of the choice 1-2 years after they had finished secondary school. In 1987 a questionnaire was given to 620 young people in 25 9th grades in ten schools in the Bergen area. The investigation was repeated in 1988 and 1989.
