Abstract

The aim of this study was to explore factors associated with motivation of individuals in organizations to protect against cyberattacks. The objectives of this study were to determine how fear of cyberattacks, perceived severity, perceived vulnerability, perceived threats, measure efficacy, self-efficacy, measure costs, mandatoriness and psychological reactance are associated with protection motivation of individuals in organizations. The survey was conducted among researchers and pedagogues at six Slovenian universities. Questionnaire and data file are available in Slovenian and English language.
