Abstract
Medical care in clinics, opinion on the "family doctor principle",
doctor-patient relationship.
Topics: Reason for going to the doctor; time period of trips to
doctor's office; trips to other doctors' offices; change of treating
doctor in the past; importance of treatment by the same doctor;
preferred type of medical practice; family doctor; treatment by a
family doctor; desire for a family doctor; frequency of trips to
specialist for general medicine; necessity of a house visit; being on
stand-by and SMH ("Schnelle Medizinische Hilfe" {rapid medical aid});
house visits of treating doctor; time expended and attention of
doctor at house visit; the role of the nurse in general medical care;
presence of nurse during conversation with doctor; interest of doctor
also for non-medical problems; conversations with doctor about things
having nothing to do with the illness; satisfaction with treating
