Attitudes to political questions and the democratic system in the FRG.
Topics: Attitudes to the grand coalition, establishing diplomatic
relations with countries of the East Bloc, recognition of the GDR, the
role of the opposition and of students in society; most important
political problems; legitimacy of social conflicts; right to free
speech; perceived possibilities to influence political decisions;
democratic attitude; status in profession; distance from place of work
and means of transport used; company size; social origins;
religiousness; city size; local residency; membership in clubs; change
of place of residence.
Scales: attitude to democracy, nationalism and National Socialism.
Demography: age; sex; marital status; number of children; religious
denomination; vocational training; occupation; employment; professional
career; income; household income; size of household; composition of
household; head of household; housing situation; possession of durable
economic goods; possession of assets.
Interviewer rating: willingness of respondent to cooperate.
