Abstract

The project will evaluate the efficacy and safety of simplified treatment of chronic hepatitis B in a poor country. About 1300 patients are included and followed up over 3 years. About one-fourth has started treatment with TDF. The effect of treatment is considered for survival, hepatocellular carcinoma development, hepatic fibrosis decline, transaminase normalization, resistance development, compliance and retention in-care.
