Information and communication patterns as well as knowledge, attitudes and behaviour in connection with AIDS. Attitude towards AIDS education and attitude towards HIV-infected. Topics: Satisfaction with the state of one´s own health; personal healthcare; greatest health hazards to the German population; most dangerous illnesses in the Federal Republic of Germany; knowledge about AIDS; chances of recovery from AIDS; assessment of the AIDS risk of infection in select situations; risk of transmission before outbreak of the illness; knowledge about the transmission possibilities of AIDS in different situations; knowledge of the HIV test; knowledge of the meaning of the test result HIV-positive; externally visible signs of HIV infection; probability of meeting people infected with HIV; one´s own contact to those with AIDS or infected by HIV; dealing with sufferers of HIV in one´s personal environment; personal fear of contracting HIV or HIV contraction in one´s circle of friends; point in time of individual fear of contracting AIDS; assessment of the danger of own infection through sexual intercourse; AIDS information sources consulted; frequency of the AIDS topic among peer groups; opinion leadership of one´s own in the area of AIDS; use of AIDS booklets of the health authorities; type and time of the last reception of AIDS education in the media (television, cinema, newspapers and magazines) as well as in special information presentations; participation in an AIDS information session or lesson as well as time, venue and counsellor; participation in an event to the AIDS education during one´s school days and assessment of the acquired knowledge about different protective measures; the Internet as an information source on AIDS and time of its last consultation on this topic; knowledge of the poster campaign "Don´t give AIDS a chance" and "Join in"; opinion on the effects of the poster campaign; knowledge of long-term advertising campaigns with similar poster themes;...
