Abstract
Attitudes to selected political questions as well as personal value
orientations and the social structure of sympathisers with the National
Democratic Party of Germany {NPD}.
Topics: most important problems in the FRG; national pride; interest
in politics and political knowledge; sympathy scale for SPD, CDU/CSU,
FDP, NPD, DKP; party preference; election behavior since 1949; aversion
to certain parties; attitude to the grand coalition; judgement on
issue-competence of the parties concerning economic policy, foreign
policy, policies to the East, educational and social policy; judgement
on the parties concerning their behavior toward trade unions, freedom
of the press and freedom of speech, the statute of limitations for NS
war crimes and authoritarian government policy; perceived influence of
special interest groups as well as the churches on politics; attitude
to recognition of the GDR, to demonstrations, to the death penalty, to
the return of emigrants from the Third Reich, to the Third Reich, to
the Empire and the Weimar Republic; judgement on National Socialism and
the goals of the NPD; image of the NPD; sources of political knowledge;
daily newspapers read; character traits of successful people and those
who might become friends of the respondent; statement of the number of
Jews murdered in the Third Reich; satisfaction with place of residence;

projects of the DIVO institute; over-representation of NPD-supporters
in the 2nd survey.
