Abstract

"Mapping the daycare employees who are exempted from the requirement of education as preschool teachers, Municipalities" was conducted by Agder Research in 2001. The study deals with exemptions for the requirement of appropriate education in day-care centers. By the authorities it is considered as a problem that employees work without adequate educational training. Conversely, temporary employment, or employees without sufficient education, can be a resource for kindergarten management. The survey was commissioned by BLD and KS to identify and analyze the use of exemptions, and kindergarten staff on exemptions, from educational requirements. The range consists of both public and private kindergartens.
