Abstract

These files include the syntax for the study "Consistent Egalitarianism or Heterogeneous Belief Patterns? Gender Ideologies in Contemporary East and West Germany". This paper analyzes the gender ideologies of respondents living in East and West Germany, and whether these belief patterns differ by socio-demographic characteristics. To this end, latent class analysis is applied to eight gender role items from the FReDA 2021 survey. This study uses FReDA panel data from the release 2.0.0. DOI: 10.4232/1.14065, Bujard et al.
