Awareness and assessment of the EU regional policy.Topics: awareness of EU co-financed projects in the own city or region; sources of information on EU-support for the own region or city; assessment of the impact of the support on the development of the own city or region and reasons for negative assessment; awareness of: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Cohesion Fund, both; personal benefit in daily life from a project funded by one of the aforementioned funds; preference for concentrating support on poorer regions or for supporting all regions equally; prioritized regions to support: regions with high unemployment, border regions, deprived urban areas, developed regions in order to maintain their competitiveness, remote rural or mountain areas; importance of supporting the own city or the own region by EU regional policy actions in the fields of: research and innovation, small and medium-sized businesses, renewable and clean energy, energy networks, broadband and internet access, environment, transport facilities, vocational or employment training, education / health / social infrastructure, tourism and culture; preferred level of decision making about EU regional policy projects: local, regional, national, EU; awareness of cooperating regions due to EU regional funding; frequency of traveling to other EU member states bordering the own country in the last twelve months; travel purpose; awareness of the strategy to promote cooperation between the Baltic Sea countries (only in DK, DE, EE, LV, LT, PL, FI, SE); awareness of the strategy to promote cooperation between countries around the Danube river (only in DE, SK, CZ, HU, SI, RO, BG, HR, AT); awareness of the strategy to promote cooperation between countries around the Adriatic and the Ionian Sea (only in HR, EL, IT, SI).
