Eurobarometers

<br> Eurobarometers are a series of public opinion surveys conducted regularly on behalf of the European Commission and other EU institutions since 1973.

Abstract

The aim of the survey is to monitor the short-term evolution of European public opinion and in particular of public interests, with a focus on the problems of European integration. It includes the socio-demographic characteristics of the respondents (age, gender, occupation, income, political preferences and type of urbanisation). In addition, two topical issues were addressed: one on the consequences for the future of Europe of the United Kingdom remaining in the Community, and the other on the influence that the development of the European Community can have on the evolution of the status of women. In addition, a series of questions on the place of women in society was also raised.
