Do-it-yourself practices of the West German population.
Topics: do-it-yourself activities conducted and person carrying out
these jobs; unpaid do-it-yourself activities outside of one´s own
house; time expended for do-it-yourself activities; reasons for minor
difficulties and causes of problems in conducting do-it-yourself
activities; preferred source of information about do-it-yourself jobs
and reading do-it-yourself or home magazines; knowledge and purchase of
literature for do-it-yourselfers; interest in video information about
do-it-yourself activities; amount of monthly expenditures for
do-it-yourself information; conducting do-it-yourself jobs in
connection with house construction, rebuilding, renovation or change of
residence; possession or opportunities to borrow do-it-yourself
equipment; purchase and place of purchase of do-it-yourself materials;
considerations determining purchase; expenditures for do-it-yourself
materials; purchase of wood for household and use of the wood.
