This data can be used to analyse the relationship between personal well-being and household income and expenditure. It was the source for a recent ONS article looking at how income, the distribution of income across society, source of income and spending affect life satisfaction, a sense that the things we do in life are worthwhile, and levels of happiness and anxiety.
