This survey is carried out on the basis of the research collaboration in "The International Social Survey Programme" (ISSP). ISSP is an international organisation that prepares and coordinates annual surveys in its member countries, mainly within the fields of political science and sociology. Abstract

This data set is an integrated file consisting of "Survey on the Environment, Norwegian Part of ISSP". It is a cumulative file from 1993 and 2000. The surveys was conducted and facilitated by NSD. Collection of data was conducted by TNS Gallup. The survey is part of an international collaboration under the direction of the ISSP. Similar surveys are repeated every few years, making it possible to follow changes and trends over time. The survey in 2000 is largely identical to the 1993 survey. The variables that can be merged are available in this data set. Topics that are covered include attitudes and values in accordance with nature and the environment, in addition to shed light on environmental problems.
