Abstract

Political attitudes and judgement on the parties. Education interests of the population. Topics: Judgement on current and future economic situation; most important tasks of the FRG; sympathy scale for SPD, CDU/CSU, FDP and NPD; influence of parties on politics; assessment of the transparency of politics; perceived influence of the voter on politics; preference for government structure (one-party, all-party or coalition government); questions about party composition in the Federal Parliament; reasons for or against possible coalition crises with an SPD/FDP coalition; image of the FDP; attitude to the emergency laws; perceived agreements between the parties in various political questions; issue ability of the parties; assignment of occupational groups to the parties; work satisfaction; criteria for occupational success (scale); social-political future expectations; fair share of national product; attitude to authorities and the trade unions; perceived reasons for education differences; level of eductional aspirations; education goals; school policy questions; reading daily newspapers; religiousness; memberships; party preference (Sunday question and pair comparison). Demography: head of household; marital status; number of children; composition of household; employment; occupation; age (classified); school education; vocational training; social origins; media usage; religious denomination; sex; state. Interviewer rating: social class and willingness of respondent to cooperate; number of contact attempts; city size.
