Abstract

"Media Survey 2019, Norwegian Population, Extra" was arranged in connection with the Nordic Media Festival which was held in Bergen in 2019. The survey provides insight into what the population think about the media's content and the influence of journalism, and what confidence the public attributes to the media's content. A key question is whether the journalists' attitudes and media habits correspond with the rest of the population, or is the industry intact with its audience? Since 1999, The Nordic Media Festival has prepared a comprehensive opinion survey. Each year, a representative selection of members from the Norwegian Union of Journalists participates.
