Highways in Slovenia

First time conducted in 1970, public opinion toward highways building was conducted again in 90s, before realisation new laying out of highways. Respondents answered the questions concerning different points of view of highways (functional, ecological, social), expressed opinion toward concrete new segments, mode of financing, safety. We find out what kind of transport habits people have and how mobile they are. The questionnaire also provides the standard socio-demographic battery.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to investigate public opinion before realization of the new laying out of the highway. Some other issues, concerning highways can also be found in the questionnaire; traffic safety ecology and protection of environment, paying tolls.
