Political orientations, moral concepts, situation in life and interests
of young people in Poland and Germany. Topics: Type of school attended
and class level; self-classification between being a child and adult
(scale); desire for agreement with parental life style; age at
conducting process of separation from original family and development
of occupational independence and autonomy as well as in establishing
development levels in planning for the future; sympathy for selected
nationalities; personal contact with persons abroad;
self-classification of knowledge about the Soviet Union, Poland and the
GDR and assessment of the knowledge provided by the school about these
countries; assessment of typical characteristics of Poles; parents
still living; social origins; personal housing situation or living in
parental household; relationship with father and mother; personal
concepts of child-raising in comparison to the parents; interest in
selected topics such as fashion, politics, sport, health, music;
judgement on the prospects for the future or fear of the future;
perceived conflicts between selected social groups; satisfaction with
