Abstract

The data consists of interviews with humanities teachers in secondary schools and upper secondary schools, in which they discuss cultural heritage and digitalisation in education. The interviews cover issues such as teachers' definitions, perceptions and experiences of cultural heritage and how digitalisation is reflected in their teaching. The interviews have been conducted mainly in English and one interview was conducted as a group interview with two people. Interviewees were asked, among other things, how they understand and define cultural heritage in their teaching and how digitalisation and digital environments affect cultural heritage in teaching. In addition, interviewees were asked about the sources and digital platforms from which they retrieve materials for teaching, and how they retrieve and evaluate them. The interviews were also interested in the cultural heritage perspective, how certain phenomena were dealt with in learning situations, and in what contexts and for what purposes digital devices were used in teaching contexts. Background information includes the gender of the interviewee, the classified age, the subject taught and regional information. The data were organised into an easy to use HTML version at FSD.
