Political attitudes, views on foreign policy and judgement on parties
as well as politicians.
Topics: most important problems of the FRG and satisfaction with
efforts to solve them; judgement on economic policy as well as foreign
policy, under particular consideration of the Ostpolitik; attitude to
the Oder-Neisse Line, to recognition of the GDR and to introduction of
a value added tax; expected influence of a value added tax on price
development; attitude to the stand of France regarding preventing
England from joining the EEC and attitude to the EEC in general;
judgement on the international relations of the FRG and the
achievements of the Federal Government; most important tasks of the
government; issue competence of the parties; degree of familiarity and
party affiliation of politicians; judgement on Federal Chancellor
Kiesinger, the grand coalition and the opposition; political knowledge
and political participation; voting intent and party preference (Sunday
question); party identification (continuum for the individual parties);
behavior at the polls in the last Federal Parliament election; attitude
to reform of the right to vote, to demonstrations and protest marches;
judgement on the possibilities of renewed National Socialism in
Germany; naming the currently most popular first names for boys and
