Abstract
Topics: preferred actor to take the leading role in influencing companies’ actions in the own country: public authorities, citizens, investors, NGOs, management of companies, trade unions; self-rated knowledge about and personal interest in companies’ actions to behave responsibility towards society in the own country; assessment of the overall influence of companies on society in the own country as positive; assessment of the level of attention companies pay to their influence on the society in the own country compared with ten years ago; assessment of the efforts of selected types of companies to behave responsibility towards society in the own country: information, communication and technology companies, clothes and shoe manufacturing companies, financial and banking companies, food production and agriculture companies, mining, oil and gas industry companies, construction companies, chemical or pharmaceutical companies, retail and supermarkets, small and medium-sized companies, large companies; main positive and negative effects of companies on society in the own country; assessment of the measures to behave responsibility towards society of the company respondent works for. Demography: age; sex; nationality; age at end of education; occupation; professional position; region; type of community; own a mobile phone and fixed (landline) phone; household composition and household size. Additionally coded was: respondent ID; type of phone line; weighting factor.
