Abstract

Investigation of the social situation and social mobility of the work force during industrialization; perspective on family history and life cycles. Topics: Demographic data on head of household (sex, previous and present occupation, position in occupation, place of work and place of residence, factory worker or not, company). Separate for spouses: regional origins, place of residence and place of work, date of birth, date of marriage and death, occupation and place of residence of father, total number of children, number of premarital and extramarital children, children from previous marriages, date of first and last birth, number of still-born and deceased children, age at death, number of children who have emigrated or left home, occupations of sons and sons-in-law and their place of work. Marriage inventory (objects and possessions brought into the marriage) of the spouses, separation inventory (at the death of a spouse), inheritance received and assets paid out to the children.
