Mikrocensus

The microcensus has been carried out since the 1970s and has been repeatedly adapted to changing circumstances over time. The last major reform took place in 2014.

Abstract

Already in September 1974 (Mikrozensus MZ7403) and 1984 the special surveys were about shopping habits and consumer questions. This question program follows the results of the previous surveys but changes the emphasis. On the A-sheet there are questions on local supply (distance to the shops). New are the questions on planning of and time needed for storing food. The time needed for shopping (daily needs, bulk buying) is asked on the B-sheet. New are questions on the shopping time and the location of the shops. Additionally, the interviewees are questioned on the utilisation of alternative shopping facilities.
