The aim of the study was:
(1) to generate six area specific data files from the SCELI study for a competing risk model of labour market mobility;
(2) to generate a data file which matches the census data with other sources and to connect this to the work history data in (1) above;
(3) to estimate and interpret a competing risk model of labour market mobility;
(4) to test the study area effect for exogeneity.
