The aim of this study is to record all decisions on planning applications in the county since 1974 for DoE returns and structure plan monitoring.
Only those permissions in force at 01.07.86, plus those added since, are included in this dataset. Permissions which expired pre-01.07.86 are excluded, as are pre-01.07.84 permissions for housing development which had been completed by that date.
