Abstract

Statistics Norway have carried through Level of Living surveys after a model with two-year annual surveys, since 1996: A theme rotating, cross-sectional survey in the third quarter, and a panel survey in the first survey. The panel survey was established in 1997. In this design, the main theme in the cross-sectional survey during fall is taken up again in the panel survey in the spring. 2002 was the seventh round of data collection for the panel survey. In 2001, the cross-sectional survey was focused on living conditions. In addition to the regular questions in the survey, there were also some questions that were focused on mapping out various sides of the family doctor arrangement.
