The aim of this study was to enable the National Consumer Council to represent consumers more effectively by:
(a) highlighting areas of major concern to consumers;
(b) collecting information about consumers' problems that would enable the NCC to press for action to further consumers' interests;
(c) providing information to others in the consumer movement.
