Attitude to peaceful and military use of atomic energy. Topics: Knowledge of areas of use for atomic energy; assumed leadership role of one country in the development of atomic energy; knowledge about the Geneva conference and additional knowledge about the peaceful use of atomic energy from it; assumed personal benefit from atomic energy; general advantages and disadvantages of atomic energy for humanity; assumed preference for (peaceful or military) use of atomic energy by the superpowers; knowledge about use in therapy; knowledge of plans for construction of nuclear power plants in the Federal Republic; attitude to research support by the Federal Government in the area of nuclear energy; assumptions about armament of the superpowers with nuclear weapons and assessment of the probability of use of nuclear weapons in a war; assumptions about the regions affected by a nuclear war; attitude to use of American atomic bombs to defend the FRG; trust in the USA regarding nuclear weapons; assessment of the danger of nuclear weapons tests; assumed blocker of an agreement about international prohibition of nuclear weapons; knowledge about nuclear weapons stored in West Germany and attitude to stationing American nuclear weapons in the FRG; personal impression of the defense strength of the NATO; assessment of an effective protection against nuclear weapons; judgement on the economic situation; local residency.
