Abstract

This project aimed to analyze how people consider income distributions in society. The respondents were asked to consider different income distributions based on different principles on fair distribution. The project aimed to study how people consider different principles for distribution, when there was a certain kind of self-effort and self-benefit in consideration. This project used an experimental design in order to analyze how people consider different income distributions in society. The design consisted of respondents being exposed to different stimuli according to how much of their income that was dependent on their own efforts and qualifications. This dataset includes data from the norwegian part of the survey.
