Abstract
The survey was conducted by Statistics Norway on behalf of and in cooperation with the Retirement Committee of 1968. This committee received a mandate to examine all issues related to determination of the retirement age. Through the survey, the Committee wanted to map out views on the pension system, adjustment to retirement, and to get a picture of living conditions through questions on employment, pensions, income, family, housing etc.
