Abstract
SHARE (Survey of Health Ageing and Retirement in Europe) is a multidisciplinary, cross-national and longitudinal survey measuring how health, economic and social living conditions of Europeans aged 50+ is changing over time. SHARE is a major source for ageing research in Europe and throughout the world, including anonymised longitudinal and cross-sectional data of more than 140.000 individuals over the age of 50. SHARE is based on individual, computer-aided personal interviews and six waves have been carried out so far. Currently SHARE includes 28 countries, including Sweden.
