Slovene Public Opinion Survey

Politbarometer is a monthly series of surveys detecting the evaluations of situation in society and of the government performance. The Slovenian Politbarometer block borrowed questions from the German Politbarometer series by the Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Mannheim. It repeats standard questions and additionally covers the current affairs. Each year part of the questions repeats also in personal field SJM survey.

Abstract

The emphasis of the study is on replication of standard SJM topics: evaluation of the socioeconomic and political situation; trust in institutions; Slovenian Politbarometer; left-right placement of political parties and self; party preference; attitudes towards European integration; political efficacy; ISSP 1995 (National Identity) module. Special emphasis is given on work values, attitudes toward promotion and social inequality. Large section of demographic question is situated at the end.
