Abstract

The purpose of «Single Mothers' Adjustments on the Labour Market, 1990” was to analyse how tax and social security rules affected single mothers' adjustments in the labour market. It was particularly interesting to compare the situation of single mothers with the situation of those who were not alone when it came to child care. The topics of the survey were employment, employment history, income, education and child care.
