Abstract
Abstract copyright UK Data Service and data collection copyright owner.
Two main purposes lay behind the survey. Firstly it was hoped that the Craigmillar Festival Society would be able to assess how far its view of priorities within the ward corresponded with those of the wider population who were not involved in the work of the society. More generally, the survey was planned to enable the Craigmillar Festival Society to inform itself about those areas of concern which people in the community felt to be most important. Secondly, it was hoped to match objective indicators of well-being, derived from various sources, with subjective indicators derived from the survey.
