Politbarometer, Slovenia
Politbarometer is a monthly series of surveys detecting the evaluations of situation in society and of the government performance. The Slovenian Politbarometer block borrowed questions from the German Politbarometer series by the Forschungsgruppe Wahlen, Mannheim. It repeats standard questions and additionally covers the current affairs. Each year part of the questions repeats also in personal field SJM survey.
Abstract
Survey is part of monthly telephone surveys, designed for measuring satisfaction with the work of Slovene government and evaluation of work of government institutions. Survey measures relation of Slovene public towards EU and NATO membership and party preferences. Monthly surveys include questions on the attitude towards EU and NATO and on the opinion about the expiry of mandates, on the forthcoming presidential elections, on the choice between presidential candidates, on the press petition, on the Constitutional Court's decision one the erased and the assessment of television news programs' objectivity.
