To collect data on attitudes toward economic policy, business conditions, consumer buying intention, and the general business and economic climate. This survey is one of an annual series conducted by Elliott Research Corp. Ltd. (Toronto, Canada) with assistance from the International Business Research Unit of the University of Windsor.

Variables
A number of specific public policy questions are also included on topics such as Canada - U.S. relations, foreign business investment, and government economic policy. Also included are a number of questions intended for clients of the survey which are not available for secondary analysis. A small number of basic demographic measures are obtained for each respondent.
