This research project was a longitudinal study of Britain's managers, and comprises the results of a survey conducted in the year 2000, building upon similar surveys of managerial attitudes conducted in 1980 and 1990. The main objective of the research was to create a unique database that will enable comparisons of managerial attitudes and behaviour over the two decades. Users should note that this dataset contains only the data from the 2000 survey.
Main Topics:

Topics covered in the data include nature of managerial work, attitudes towards work, role of the government, industrial relations, employee participation and trade unions.
