Survey was carried out as a part of continuation program by Defence research center. Specialized on research of public opinion on military occupation. Main task was to get general overview on tolerance and preparedness of entering in military occupation.
Abstract
Researching the relationship between Slovenian youth and military occupation descendes from the needs of Slovenian army to get general overview of willingness/readiness for serving military duty. The needs for research arose from ascertaining the fact that after Slovenian independence, armed forces became nevertheless incompatible with the NATO standards. The reason for low motivation of slovenian youth in participating in military occupation is because military occupation is not represented as attractive way for achieving carrier aspiration. Practical objectives of this survey were the stimulation and findings of subjective or objective factors for decision-making about military service.Researching the relationship between Slovenian youth and military occupation descendes from the needs of Slovenian army to get general overview of willingness/readiness for serving military duty.
