Study title

The purpose of "The Political Economy of Resource Abundance, 2014" was to explore various issues within the literature that deals with the so-called "natural resource curse". The data collectively provide descriptions of Norwegian municipalities, and include municipalities' income, income from natural resources, geological characteristics (generated in GIS), payroll data for municipal employees and power consumption. These data were obtained from Statistics Norway, Directorate of Taxes, KS and NVE.
