Series

The survey "Work, lifestyle and health" was conducted for the first time in 1985, and has been accompanied by new surveys in 1987, 1989, 1993 and 2003. The surveys have been aimed at identifying young people's career in the labor market, unemployment and substance abuse.

Abstract

The study aims to identify the situation of young people aged 19-22 years in 1989, with special emphasis on the relationship between work / unemployment and substance abuse. It will provide knowledge about substance abuse and the development of a youth group that is susceptible. The survey will provide information on the development of possible hidden abuse in adolescents who have not yet come in contact with the treatment system. Such a survey would provide opportunities for developing preventive strategies. The study is a continuation of the earlier study "Youth Survey - 1985" and a similar survey conducted in 1987, the follow-up survey in 1989 was initiated by the Department of Behavioural Medicine and Labour.
