The purpose of this study was to ascertain examination attainments of a group of overseas students.
Main Topics:

Information collected for this survey concerned a group of overseas students taking courses in institutions of higher education of all types (470 nurses and 1180 students). Data comprise course taken, length of course, overall results, qualification or grade obtained, or withdrawal from course. These data were correlated with information gathered in an earlier survey (not held by the Archive), including age, sex, country of normal residence and/or origin, college where registered, course of training or subject being studied and the results of a battery of English Proficiency Tests.
